Who are the missionaries, and what work do they do?

They lead Hope House in Kanazawa, which includes Café Hope, a space for students and other guests offering English classes, concerts and a gallery, as well as a church with Sunday Services, community and worship.

They focus on children’s ministry and collaboration between churches in the area, as well as a vision for systematic Bible teaching.

How can you stand with Japan?

Prayer Requests: Pray that people in Japan will come to know Jesus, for strength in the children’s ministry, and that Hope House will be a place where many find new hope.

Charlotte & Johannes Pedersen serve through Gennem Pilgrims International, focusing on church planting, leadership training and equipping missionaries in Eastern Europe. Their vision is “helping people help themselves”, with the Bible at the centre.

Zivko & Fani Barbutov lead Evangelical Church Skopje, which was planted in 2018. The church has a strong focus on reaching the next generation through theological teaching, worship and leadership training. Their vision is to plant more churches and equip young leaders for ministry in the country.

Simon and Helene work to help the next generation grow in their relationship with Jesus as a community of Jesus followers. Through TeenStreet, they motivate, equip and walk alongside young people so they can live in a genuine relationship with Jesus and reflect Him in their everyday lives.
