Give Financially

When you give to HAVEN, you help build the church, invest in people and share hope locally and globally.

Generosity is Part of Life with Jesus

We believe that Jesus invites us to live generously, including with our finances. Giving is not about pressure or performance, but about gratitude, trust and helping to carry the responsibility God has entrusted to us as a community.

Gifts to HAVEN help fund the church’s day-to-day work, Sunday Services and communities, our work with children and young people, social and mission initiatives, as well as the buildings where we meet.

How you can give

You can make a one-time gift or set up a regular giving agreement. This page should clearly bring together the current options for MobilePay, bank transfers and other payment methods.

You may be eligible for a tax deduction under current rules. If you would like to claim a deduction, the necessary information must be registered correctly. Contact the church office or treasurer if you have any questions.

Thank you for being part of it

Every gift, big or small, helps make a difference. Thank you for helping support HAVEN’s life and mission.

Tax Deduction Options

There are two schemes:

1. Section 8A – Give freely, up to a certain limit

Under Section 8A of the Danish Tax Assessment Act, you can claim a tax deduction for donations of up to DKK 19,000.

2. Section 12(3) – Commitment Declaration

Under Section 12(3) of the Danish Tax Assessment Act, you may be able to claim a tax deduction for larger donations to approved organisations. To qualify for the deduction, you must enter into a commitment declaration, which is a binding giving agreement for a period of 10 years. You can either give a fixed amount or a percentage of your gross annual income. You can claim a deduction of up to 15% of your gross income.

How Do You Claim the Deduction?

You need to provide your name and CPR number to the church treasurer.

We register all your donations, whether made via MobilePay, PBS, bank transfer or FriendPay. If you give cash, please put it in an envelope with your name on it.

We report your donations to SKAT, which will automatically add the amount to your tax assessment.

We are happy to provide further guidance on the different tax deduction schemes or answer any other questions. If you would like to know more, please contact the church treasurer, Pernille Jacobsen.
