Who are we?

Whether you’re new to faith or have been a Christian for years, there’s a place for you here.

Welcome to HAVEN

Whether you’re new to faith or have been a Christian for years, there’s a place for you here. Join a connect group where you can walk alongside others in faith and life, or find a serving team where you can make a difference together with others in our community.

We believe that one practical way of living out Jesus’ command to love is by serving and reaching out to those around us.

Our Vision

Here you can read about our vision.

We envision:
An apostolic resource centre that makes Jesus known everywhere and to every generation.
An engaged church that helps uplift the city alongside municipalities and other organisations. We believe that God has placed us in our capital city to love and serve “a greater Copenhagen.”

A growing church that “expands its tent pegs” by raising up ministries and leaders who can plant and establish more communities, services and missional initiatives in more cities, across our country and among the nations.

One strong, united and engaged multi-site church working for spiritual, cultural and social renewal and growth wherever we are.

We envision:
One house with many different rooms, offering broad reach and diversity while connecting people in committed relationships under the “same roof,” with a shared vision and values.

A community where there is always a place for each person to feel at home and grow, regardless of where they are in life or how familiar they are with faith and church. We are a church for imperfect people.

A community where each person discovers their place, purpose and value, enabling them to live life to their full God-given potential.

We envision:
One church that, everywhere and for every generation, creates space for life-changing encounters with Jesus, His Spirit and His Word.
A church that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, brings healing, restoration, hope and salvation.

A church where people continually come to faith and become part of the community.

A church that offers Spirit-inspired, relevant and Jesus-centered worship, preaching, community and engagement.

Our Values

Here you’ll find our five core values, which guide how we seek to live out our calling as a church community.

We want to honour God, His Word, His creation and the purpose He has given His church. Therefore, we want to honour every person in the way we see, speak to and about people, and in the way we treat them.

We want to pursue excellence as we serve one another, our city and our country. We are driven by the grace of Christ, not by human performance. Therefore, we always want to do our best with the gifts and talents the Holy Spirit has given us.

We want to be a community that creates healthy conditions for people to grow in faith, maturity and discipleship of Jesus. We therefore want to make room for each individual while remaining an adaptable and forward-looking church that can continue to embrace the growth God brings.

We want to make Jesus known. We want to do this everywhere and for every generation. The clearest expression of who Jesus is can be seen in the daily lives we live. Therefore, we want to equip everyone to live mission-focused, relationship-oriented and Jesus-centered lives.

We are a community united through faith in Jesus. Therefore, we want to build authentic relationships and committed communities across generations, genders and cultures.
