In a Child Dedication, we thank God for the child and pray for His blessing over the child and the family.
At HAVEN, we baptise people based on their own profession of faith. Instead, we offer Child Dedication for young children.
During a Sunday Service, the child and parents are invited to come forward. The congregation prays for the child, and the parents express their desire to create a strong foundation of faith, love and belonging around their child. At the same time, we as a church promise to stand alongside the family.
